Here are some tips to be safe at home: Clear walkway areas of clutter, loose cords Light your stairways Secure area rugs to keep them in place Repair any holes in your carpeting/rugs Use night lights in bathrooms, bedrooms, and hallways Plan a fire escape route using 2 ways to get out of your home in case of a fire Make sure you have a working smoke detector on each level of your home Install railings and grab bars to assist you in maintaining your balance in areas such as bathrooms and stairways NEVER SMOKE with your OXYGEN on or in a room where OXYGEN is stored or used.
